John's bio John was born and grew up in South Jersey. John started playing drums around 6th grade and played in bands thru most of high school. After graduating high school (1976) he continued to work a day job full time and play semi-professionally til married in 1986. Started playing again in 1997 with Bob, Jeff and Sean and has been playing on and off ever since. This is 3rd band playing with Bob Weintrout (Westwind, Asylum, Bad Influence). Have known Bob since 1981 and played mostly with since that time. John has two daughters: Leeann, 14 and Raechel, 11, neither of which are interested in playing drums. Leeann lives wither dad and plays high school and recreational field hockey and softball. Raechel lives with her mom and plays plays recreational basketball and lacrosse and cheerleads for the local midget football team. John coached their recreational softball and basketball teams. Neither are interested in playing drums. John works full time for a local construction firm. John also enjoys road bicycling in his precious spare time. One of John's favourite bands is Smashing Pumpkins(go figure) |
